You can also arrange a private forage or cooking class if you are interested. In addition, our gift certificates are very popular and make unique and welcome gifts. Contact us for more details.
Please book in advance to avoid disappointment. Gift certificates are available for use at any event providing there is free space. Events are booked first come – first served!
2023 Pricing:
- Dinners are $115/person plus GST (unless noted)
- Forage workshops are $150/person plus GST
- Forage weekends are $250/person plus GST
- Cooking classes are $125/person plus GST
Private Event Pricing:
- Private Farm Dinner Parties: Minimum 10 people ($125/person)
- Private Farm dinners up to 28 seats are available. Long table size is maximum 14 seats.
- Private Cooking Classes: Minimum $600 ($150/person 4 people or $125/person for 4+)
- Wild Food Forages: Minimum $600 (4 people or $150/person for groups of 4 +)
- All private events have an added gratuity of 15%
- For long term private bookings we require a minimum 50% deposit to secure the date in our calendar. Typically most events require payment in advance to book.
The Complaint Department
We usually tell people our complaint department is our border collie Oliver. He is a great listener but will usually not do too much in response (unless you have an immediate squirrel problem). In reality we try not to get too many complaints but in the rare event of one we appreciate if you contact us to resolve the problem. This will hopefully be more satisfying than roasting us on social media. But as we say on the farm “composting happens”. Love and respect is always the best policy. It will get you far with us.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
All fees will have GST applied (5%). For private events we add a 15% gratuity to the final bill. Payment is in advance to book a reservation for the events and/or classes. For long tern events we may ask for a $500 deposit to secure the date. We will send you a paypal email invoice for the total. Please get back to us with your preferred payment method.
Payment Options:
1) Send us an Interac E-Transfer. If you bank online, just log into your bank, and go to your account transfer options and select Interac E-Transfer. You will need our email address (on the invoice) and a confirmation question and answer. We are set up for automatic deposit – if your bank supports that then no question is required. Otherwise just email me the answer and hit send. It all happens instantly.
2) Follow the directions on the paypal email invoice to pay by credit card (or your personal paypal account). Note: you do not have to have a paypal account to use this service
If it is a last minute reservation we may require payment on the day of the event in the form of cheque or cash. Please call or email with any questions.
Cancellation
Important Note: We require 48 hours notice to cancel a reservation. We are event driven so we need this advance notice to avoid incurring expenses related to your reservation. We will rebook or refund your reservation. On shorter notice, if there are special circumstances, we can discuss refunds for the booking or make alternative arrangements.
We do not refund gift certificates. They have no time limit and the value can be used for other events. We will not exchange the value of the certificate for cash.
If you do not show up to the event (without 48 hours notice) you will forfeit the fee paid in advance. We run a handful of events per month – so each seat is very important to us. Please call for more info – we are extremely reasonable, but we also are trying to run a unique business.

We offer gift certificates that can be specified for an event or class or left flexible for the individual to put towards the event of their choice. The certificate can be quickly emailed as a PDF document for you to print off at your convenience.
Events often sell out and there are waiting lists for the more popular events. We will contact you the week of the event to update you of your status, remind you of the day and time and provide directions to our farm (if it is your first trip).
